Artist Statement

I am a British painter-printmaker working in oil and watercolour, specialising in intaglio and collagraph prints. I have a fascination for the ephemeral nature of London’s vibrant graffitti art in relation to urban architecture and its inhabitants. I will revisit the same site over a period of years, both witnessing and interpreting the evolving landscape. I use both contemporary and traditional printmaking methods to document the ever-changing street art scene. My images range from gritty to whimsical, figurative to surreal - they are both timeless and stamped with the press of our moment.
